The 3rd annual DC/MD/VA Astro meeting will be celebrated at the Catholic University of America this summer and you are all welcome!
The aim of this meeting is to provide a space for senior undergraduate and graduate students in the DC/MD/VA area to present their work and facilitate networking and interaction between the local institutions.
Students are invited to submit abstracts to present their research in the form of both talks and posters. The format for presentations will be 15 minutes talks plus 5 minutes for questions, and there will be one session for viewing posters on each of the two conference days. The conference will be split in two days with a mix of different topics on each day. We plan to have two invited talks (one on each day) by senior researchers working at local institutions.
EXTENDED -REGISTRATION DEADLINE: June 19, 2015. There is no registration fee.
You can register and submit your talk/poster abstract (optional) HERE (click!)
The number of participants is limited to ~ 80 due to space and time restrictions, therefore not everyone may be approved for either talk or poster. The sooner you register the higher your chances will be!
